1. Will it fit my balcony railing?
We have designed the bracket to fit almost all railing types; regardless whether round or square. It fits railings of between 4cm and 18cm width. The bar itself is 1.2m long and 22cm wide, enough space for entertaining, plants, laptops etc etc
If you are concerned that it will not fit your railing type, please send us a photo by contacting us and we will be able to advise you.
2. How do i fix the brackets to the timber?
Your Bonzer comes as a flat pack. You are supplied with all screws and a screwdriver. There are pre-drilled pilot holes at 650mm, 700mm and 750mm widths which fit many types of balcony posts.
If your posts are wider then we suggest you pre-drill additional pilot holes and fix the brackets. When ordering, you can of course let us know your specific width and we'll be happy to custom pre-drill holes.
3. Can it fold down?
Absolutely! When not in use, you can disengage the bracket by removing the safety pin and folding down the table top so that it is flat with your balcony. You can also lift the entire unit from the railing if you intend to store it for an extended duration.
4. Durability
The bracket is powder-coated and designed to last. We have chosen lacquered Jatoba timber for its known durability and hardness and attractive honey-colour.
However, as it is a natural and eco-friendly timber exposure to wet and hot conditions is expected.
We highly recommend purchasing our rain cover when not in use and coating the wood with varnish every 12 months.
5. Shipping and Returns
We ship via courier from Sydney and Brisbane and offer returns for incompatibility with your balcony type, change of mind and of course defects.
